The structure of the present thesis is the following: introduction, 3 chapters, conclusions and recommendations, references - 219 sources, 182 pages, 139 pages in the fundamental part, 32 tables, 48 figures. The results are published in 12 scientific papers.

The main objective of the research is to develop the training process in the annual cycle by approaching the structure application methodology and artistic training content of 9 and 10 year-old gymnasts.

The current scientific problem of major importance in the field that has been worked out, deals with is the short time allotted to artistic training, insufficient use of specific means of this component in sports training, without a rational systematization, aspects that would enable the visible improvement of the gymnasts’ artistic training and implicitly of the level of performance in all apparatuses.
The theoretical value consists in designing and argumenting the methodology to streamline the artistic training of 9-10 year old gymnasts by developing and implementing of the structure and content of an experimental model of artistic training in the annual cycle of training.
The practical value of the research is characterized by: developing an experimental model that includes the application method of the structure and content of training artistic in gymnasts training; different planning of the artistic training means necessary to meet the competition requirements: meeting all beam and floor requirements; improving proper posture and expressiveness of the artistic and acrobatic elements included in competition exercises required by all gymnastics apparatuses; development of creative and artistic abilities.
Implementation of research results. The methodology of content and structure of the experimental model of artistic training regarding the efficiency of the 9-10 year-old gymnasts training was implemented by teachers and coaches from CSS Gymnastics Focşani and LPS Gymnastics Galaţi. It can be used in the training by experts in the field. Moreover it can de regarded as a scientific and methodical material by students of the faculties of physical education and sport for “specialitz gzmnastics” discipline.
