The structure of work: Introduction, 4 chapters, Conclusions and recommendations, bibliography of 275 references, 11 annexes, 135 pages, 37 figures, 9 tables. The obtained results are published in 18 scientific papers.
Branch of investigations: 03.00.12 - Plant Physiology. The aim: To study the physiological and biochemical particularities of growth, photosynthetic activity and productivity of introduced table grape varieties, originating from different ecological and geographical zones, by grafting on different rootstocks.
Objects: to show changes parameters of shoot growth and leaf area of plants in ontogeny, depending on scion-rootstock combinations; to investigate the influence of rootstocks on the content of plastid pigments in leaves and their relation to the induction of chlorophyll fluorescence; to determine the character of the correlations between basic indicators of growth, photosynthetic activity and productivity of grape plants.
Scientific novelty and originality: in the conditions of Moldova, Republic, the first in a field experiment investigated during ontogenesis a complex of physiological and biochemical indices of growth, photosynthetic activity and productivity of introduced table grape varieties, depending on their biological particularities and stock, on which they are grafted.
The scientific problem- physiology of grafted plants, in which we have obtained new experimental dates on the correlations between processes of the growth, photosynthetic activity and productivity of table grapes varieties, grafted on different rootstocks.
Theoretical significance: we established that grafting cultivated varieties of grapes on different rootstocks by vigor can directionally regulate the photosynthetic activity and plant productivity. Application value: the results of experimental studies allow to recommend from production in the Central zone of Moldova, Republic, cultivation of new table grape varieties Loose Perlette, Summer Muscat, Monukka and Italia on vigorous rootstocks 44-53M and B×R 5BB to increase plant productivity and product quality of table grapes. Implementation of scientific results: application of scientific results carried out in the farm SRL "Sauron" for cultivation of investigated introduced table grape varieties
