Field of research: Pedagogy of the sport training. Aim of research: increase in special physical training efficiency for highly qualified kickboxers.
Objectives of research: to determine the features of specific motor preparedness of highly qualified universal kickboxers of middleweight category; to identify the predominant orientation of the content and forms of special physical training organization for highly qualified universal kickboxers within the preparatory period of their annual cycle; to substantiate the effectiveness of a special physical training constructing for highly qualified universal kickboxers of middleweight category within the annual cycle preparatory period.
Novelty and originality of research was to substantiate the variant of special physical training for universal kickboxers at the annual macrocycle preparatory period that was worked out having taken into account the particularity of their competitive activity.
Theoretical importance of research results is expanding of the knowledge range about the training system peculiar properties for highly qualified kickboxers using different tactical styles of match.
Practical significance. The research results can be used in planning content and forms of special physical training organizing for kickboxers at the annual cycle initial stage.
Actual scientific problem of high importance that is being solved in the study was at purposeful development of motor abilities of the most demanded at the competitive activity kickboxers using different tactical styles of match. Application of research results.
The research results have been established to the kickboxers training practice of Moldavian, Latvian, Ukrainian, Russian leading clubs.
