The thesis consists of introduction, 4 chapters, conclusions and recommendations, bibliography of 194 titles, in a total volume of 127 pages of basic text, 18 tables and 42 pictures. The obtained results are published in 10 scientific papers.
Field of study: 03.00.05 ― Botany.
Purpose of the thesis: to study extensive maintenance effect of the soil samples in laboratory conditions on the composition edaphically algal flora.
Objectives: Emphasizing of the taxonomic structure and of ecological groups in the communities of the edaphic algae kept for 15-18 years in the laboratory conditions, which were collected from natural and artificial forests vegetation, agricultural ecosystems. Comparative analysis of estimation results algal communities from the soil samples which were stored in the laboratory conditions with preventive results 15-18 years ago from the same kinds of vegetations. Emphasizing dependence of the species resistance to the ecological particularities characteristics of various kinds of the vegetation.
Scientific innovation and originality: It was the first time when composition of the edaphic algal flora kept for 15-18 years in laboratory conditions in the dehydrated was studied. The composition of edaphic algae communities was analyzed in terms of taxonomic diversity and ecological groups. It was determined that the habitat features influence on the ability of the resistance of the representatives from different ecological groups and representatives of different species of algae in general and those representatives of their species and part of the same species. There were emphasized the most resistant on the one side, and vulnerable on the other, species, genera and families of edaphic algae.
Theoretical significance: Studying of the taxonomic structure of the edaphic algae maintained under condition of the dehydration enables to emphasize taxonomic units of species and resistant forms of the edaphic algae.
Practical value: The results of investigations studying the taxonomic structure of edaphic algal communities maintained for 15-18 years under condition of the dehydration, emphazise the most resistant forms and taxonomic units to unfavorable conditions for life.
Implementation of scientific results: The results can be implement at the Ministry of Environment to identify the level of soil pollution, for biodiversity conservation methods. For the teaching and researching process to study edaphic algae in scientific research laboratory „Phycology” from State University of Moldova and for the teaching process in the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Nicolaie Testimiţanu”.
