Summary

The thesis consistsof the introduction, 3 chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography containing 220 titles, 17 annexes and it is exposed on 130 pages, including 8 tables, 30 figures and 23 formules. Researches are reflected in 9 scientific papers.

Domain of study: foreign direct investments as particular result of internationalization of investment process.

Objectives of thesis: trends determination in international investment flows and foreign direct investments features implemented in Moldova in terms of new foreign direct investments of indirect type and wrong foreign direct investments.

Scientifical novation and originality of the results:

consists in foreign direct investments identification of indirect type and its model elaboration; identification of wrong foreign direct investments and its model elaboration; the scientific argumentation of significance of foreign direct investments of indirect type and wrong foreign direct investments for elaboration and implementation of state investment policy; identification of transmission channels for the effects of foreign direct investment; elaboration of investment model of a country; elaboration of model that allows measurement of the incidence of foreign direct investments on economic growth; elaboration of short-term forecasting methodology of the development of foreign direct investment stock in the national economy.

Theoretical significance: consists of proposed concepts, new developed methodologies, realized findings, which will serve to support further scientific research. However, the sentence may be proposed as reference work in the teaching of economic higher education institutions.

Applicative value of the thesis ca be found in: consist in the investments differentiation of central authorities to concentrate efforts to attract certain types of foreign investment; basics elaboration for investment modeling in scope of their applications to economic policy, and attracting investments in national economy; impact estimation of foreign direct investments contribution on economic growth; forecast of foreign direct investment stock.

Implementation of sientifical results: recommendations developed in this paper were accepted for use in activity of Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Moldova for improvement measures of investment policy of the Republic of Moldova.
