Field of research: pathological anatomy
The aim and objectives of the study. Establishing the pathological peculiarities of liver cystic hydatidosis in children and the morpho-functional changes in relation of the vital activity of the parasite, and evolutionary forms of the disease, the associated complications and recurrences.
Objectives: the study of morphological peculiarities of hydatid cyst depending on disease types and the on vital activity of larval cyst; assessment of scolecide drugs; research of changes of hepatocellular and immunocellular components in hydatid lesions; elucidation of peculiarities in hepatic parenchyma at distance of the cysts.
Scientific novelty of the work. For the first time, were established some sequence peculiarities of pathological changes of liver hydatid cyst in children with the elucidation of structural, biological and germinative components of the parasite; was confirmed the efficacy of scolecide drugs and the antagonistic relationships in coinfection, was argued etiopathogenic features of vascularization in pericystic area and of changes in hepatic parenchyma at diverse distance of the cysts. Scientific problem solved. Establishment of hepatic hydatid cyst morphogenesis in children, to define the concept of clinical-morphological evolution of hydatid cyst and hepatic parenchymal changes at distance depending on the parasite activity, to elaborate a new strategy of pathological diagnosis.
The theoretical significance. The study results contribute to define a modern concept and an original vision on hydatid biology and morphogenesis in human infection.
Applicative value of the research. Applicative value of the research is a new strategy in the methodology of pathological diagnosis in vivo of morpho-functional peculiarities in hepatic parenchyma at distance of the cysts.
