Summary

The objective of this work is identifying the characteristics of international commercial transactions in the context f a global postindustrial economy and the development of recommendations for local producers-exporters to foreign markets.

The study reviews the prerequisites for creating a global postindustrial economy and its characteristics as a qualitatively new environment for international commercial transactions, which, in turn, serve as a driving force in global transformations and overcoming the borders between countries. I tis argued the role of the new economy to increase competitiveness, improve the economic structure of the national economy, in the rapprochement with the European Union.

In the dissertation are examined the mechanisms of commercial transactions in the real form of international exchange of scientific and technical knowledge clusters and the ways to finance them. It is analyzed the influence exerted by the ratio between free trade and protectionism in the implementation of international commercial transactions. The experience of different countries to encourage exporters is summarized. There are determined the main causes of trade conflicts and wars, where a special place is occupied by measures associated with neoprotectionism. The mediation procedure is proposed as one of the modes of solving the trade conflicts.

In the paper are investigated transaction costs associated with the output to foreign markets, identifies opportunities and ways to reduce them. It is argued the use of outsourcing as a strategy and business model to improve production efficiency and integration into the global industry.

Conclusions and recommendations presented in the work determine its practical significance. They aim to support local producers-exporters engaged in international commercial transactions, to improve the business climate in the Republic of Moldova, at the post-integration into the global economy.

The recommendations proposed in the thesis had been used at several businesses, as well as the Trade and Industry Chamber of the Republic of Moldova. They may also introduce other post-socialist countries facing the challenge of integration into the global postindustrial economy.

The study can be applied in the development of national economic development strategy in Eastern and Central Europe, with training in the system of university and postuniversity education as well as in the practice of economic agents.
