Field of study. Events related to political conflicts in Moldova, the separatist forces in shaping and building an independent Moldovan state, the process of resolution of these conflicts.

The purpose and objectives of the work. The purpose of the study is to determine fundamental issues of existence of political conflicts in Moldova. Achieving this goal takes the following objectives: to represent the views of national and international political scientists on the process of resolving political conflicts taking place in Moldova, to highlight and review the priorities of Moldova in the political process of conflict resolution, to determine level and quality of relations between Chisinau - Tiraspol, Moldova - Comrat, to analyze positions and contradictions Chisinau, Tiraspol and Comrat regions on the status issue, to consider the interests of parties involved in resolving political conflicts in Moldova, to determine trends in conflict resolution policy in Moldova.

Scientific research methodology. For our research, namely to identify common and distinctive features of the two political conflicts in Moldova, were used the following methods: Method systemic, comparative method, methods of sociological, structural-functional method, the institutionalist method, historical method. The study was used in the analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, the content analysis of documents and agreements signed to study data on the opinion polls, which facilitated the creation of complex and multidisciplinary view on the conflict dimension of the political process. This study is based on research of the problem of realism, principle and the principle of interdisciplinary scientific.

Scientific novelty and originality. The work that has a scientific reason, that were assessed objectively events that took place, the interests and positions shown by makers of Chisinau, Tiraspol and Comrat, international arbitrators.

Theoretical significance. Theoretical significance of the current investigation is determined by results and conclusions obtained from the research of political conflicts in Moldova and proposals launched during its.

Implementation of the work. Results of the study can serve as guides to further research the issue addressed.

Implementation of scientific results. The author also participated in various projects and programs to facilitate the process of resolving political conflicts in Moldova, for example, the project achieved the Foreign Policy Association “Young leaders - the country's future” (2007), and „Transnistrian Dialogues” ( 2008), etc..
