The dissertation consists of introduction, 6 chapters, conclusions, practical recommendations and bibliographical sources of 222 titles, 14 annexes, 203 pages of basic text, 43 figures, 27 tables. The obtained results are published in 45 scientific works.
The dissertation concerns the pharmaceutical domain and is dedicated to pharmacognostical research, also to biological, phytochemical and pharmacological researches of species: Asparagus officinalis L., A. tenuifolius Lam., A. verticillatus L., Lilium henryi Baker, L. regale Wils and L. martagon L.,which are growing in RM.
The aim and objectives consist of expansion of knowledges about vegetal medicinal raw (VMR) which contains biological active steroidal saponin substances in course of identification, examination and pharmacognostical description, showing-up, implementation of new plants and VMR which contain saponins - new natural chemical compounds with new therapeutical proper-ties. The methodology of researches includes pharmacognostical investigations of VMR and biological and physical-chemical research methods of vegetal raw’s biologically active substan-ces.The scientific novelty, originality and theoretical meaning consist of chemical description of new 11 saponins and 5 vegetal raw, establishing of biological activity of new compounds, in generalization of knowledges about VMR, steroidal saponins, identification of new pharmacolo-gical properties and their manifestation rules, elaboration of new direction for researches – hypo-cholesterolemic and antioxidant biological active substances (BAV). It was established anatomi-cal and morphological diagnostic characters, also steroidal saponins content in vegetal raw of Asparagus and Lilium. The practical aspect and implementation of the scientific results include new VMR and BAV wich can be base of pharmaceutical remedies with new therapeu-tical properties spectrum expansion, elaboration and confirmation of TPM “Asparaginis officina-lis rhizomata cum radicibus” and “Asparagozidum”, utilization of new compounds in researches at the IGPP and Institute of Physiology and Sanocreatology of ASM, utilization in the process of teaching at Pharmacological department of the SUMP “N.Testemitanu”.The HMRM’s recom-mendations “The chemical and pharmacological researches of steroidal glycosides isolated from some species of Asparagaceae and Liliaceae’s families”,“The biological researches for evalua-tion of some species from Asparagaceae and Liliaceae’s families” are based on these results.
