The thesis is composed of the introduction, three chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography with 260 titles, 13 annexes, 132 pages of the basic text, 17 tables, and 21 pictures. The results obtained are published in 6 scientific works.
Field of the research. The research is dedicated to the study of the development of the intercultural literary-artistic competences of the modern students.
The goal of the research was to determine certain psychoeducational and philological marks in order to evaluate the formative contribution of the foreign literature into the development of the students’ intercultural literary-artistic competences.
The objectives of the research supposed the establishment of the theoretical signs of the intercultural relations and students’ intercultural education through their literary-artistic experiences; theoretical analysis of the intercultural characteristics and values of the intercultural socio-cultural and academic environment; systematisation of the principles of the pupils’ literary-artistic education through the foreign languages learning at the university; elaboration of a system of activities on the development of the students’ literary-artistic competences.
The scientific novelty and originality of the research raise the question about students’ intercultural education within the intercultural academic context of the Republic of Moldova through the literature as a content part of the initial professional education at the university.
The theoretical significance of the research resides in the term clarification like competence, literary-artistic competences, intercultural relations; the systematisation of the socio-cultural intercultural values, academic and university environment in the Republic of Moldova; the integration of the literary-artistic education through foreign languages learning at the university.
The applicative signification of the thesis lies in the establishment of the literary-artistic experiences of the students; a intercultural literary-artistic development; in the elaboration of a system of activities in order to develop the students’ intercultural literary-artistic competences.
The implementation of the scientific results is implemented applying the curricula The French Language and The Literature of Great Britain at the State University from Tiraspol.
