The structure of the thesis: introduction, three chapters, conclusions and recommendations, bibliography (198 authors), 146 pages of basic text. The obtained results are published in 12 scientific papers.
Area of research: text linguistics, stylistics, pragmatic, semantic, discourse analysis.
Goal and objectives of research: organization of the multiaspectual information on comic, examination of the comic as a discursive category, representation of the hierarchy system of the comic category, determination of the textual mechanisms of the comic manifestation, assessment of the communicative conditions necessary for the manifestation of the comic in speech, organization of the speech mechanism of the comic in the text, definition of program plans of comic manifestation in various types of texts.
Methodological and theoretical support: semo-pragmatic theory, the theories of systemic environmental reality, of textual isotopes, of semantic integrity of discourse, of texts typology, of speech acts.
Scientific novelty and originality of the investigation consists in the fact that the research is one of the few attempts to study the comic from a multidisciplinary perspective, due to the interactional relationships between discourse pragmatics, cognitive semantics, referential and interpretative text linguistics and stylistics of the text; the investigation presents a theoretical model of a multiaspectual approach of the discursive categories.
Theoretical significance and applied value of the thesis are determined by complex interpretations of some current topics of linguistics, which assigns the theoretical performance of the investigation, serving as a benchmark for further research of this topic.
Implementation of scientific data in research and didactics: thesis results can be exploited to develop university courses, optional seminars, master degree thesis, which take into debate issues related to language theory and interpretation of the text, pragmatics and semantics.
