The work is based on comparative study of anatomical and functional results after myringoplasty surgery, performed by „under lay” technic – the placement of autofascial graft under meato-tympanal flap – and assisted by „Regesan” and „Solcoseril gel” – drugs with regenerative properties. 137 patients were devided in three groups: 1.first group (65 patients), to which was uded „Regesan” drug; 2. second group, to which was uded „Solcoseril gel”. 3. third (control group) – to which was used ointment of erythromycine.
The comparison of anatomical and functional results was done in 1 month, 3 – 6 months and 1 – 3 years after surgery.
The best results were obtained in first group, to which was used „Regesan”.
Clinical outcomes were confirmed by histological investigations in experimental part of the work, done on nine rabbits.
Anatomical and functional results were better in children that in adults.
Conclusion: Good anatomical and functional results were obtained in all three groups of patients, but the most cases of these results were got in first group with using of „Regesan”. As a graft in miringoplasty we recomend usage of autofascial flap. As operative surgical method we recomend an „under lay” technic.
