Summary

The structure of the thesis: introduction, three chapters, conclusions and recommendations, bibliography (190 sources), 15 text annexes, 112 pages, 29 tables, 15 figures and 9 formulas. The obtained results were published in 12 articles.

Field of study: Economics and Management (in entrepreneurial activity).

The goal of the thesis and dissertation objectives: study of the conceptual approaches concerning investment and leasing; teoretio-applied assessment of classification of leasing operations; challenges and benefits by leasing services; analysis, leasing market and evaluation of leasing offers competitiveness proposed by national leasing companies; an analysis of the use industrial branches of national economy; studying the experience of developed countries on the development of the leasing market; drawing up proposals for the diversification of products for the benefit of leasing; determining what kinds of institutional and legislative framework in the field of leasing in the Republic of Moldova.

Scientific novelty and originality consists of enriching the definition of leasing by considering the interest of all stakeholders; developing the methodology for evaluating the competitiveness of offers submitted by leasing companies; optimization of the decisional process related to leasing investment applying present investment value method; development of the additional proposals for national legislation related to the leasing operation; developing consolidated principles within the institutional framework of the leasing mechanism and creating the National Association of Leasing Companies; developing the need of leasing products and services diversification for industrial companies.

Theoretical significance is composed in arguing the opportunities offered by leasing companies for investment purposes of industrial companies and defending the financing business decision by comparing the acquisition methods and using some special contractual conditions and deploying leasing operations.

The applied value. The developed recommendations may be used by leasing and industrial companies involved in the process of offering and using the leasing operations for investment purposes. Its implementation will contribute to the development of Moldova’s economy. Implementation of the scientific results. Recommendations drawn up can be deployed in leasing companies activity
