Thesis structure: introduction, three chapters, conclusions and recommendations, bibliography from 161 names, 6 appendices, 125 pages of basic text, 17 figures, 17 tables. The obtained results were published in 9 articles.
The area of study,the goal and the thesis objectives. In thesis the theoretical and methodological basis of the concept of performing management and enterprise competitiveness was examined, the existing methods of enterprise competitiveness’ evaluation were described, as well as the main trends in performing management and their influence on enterprise competitiveness were appreciated. Also, the development trends of local Light industry were analyzed through the prism of economic globalization, the management of enterprises from the Light industry according to the model of McKinsey and their competitiveness on the basis of „efficient competition” theory were evaluated.
The objectives of research dealing with the evaluation of development trends and management in the local Light Industry, suggestion of measures for its development in order to increase the competitiveness level of enterprises.
Novelty and scientific originality. In thesis the measures of managerial re-engenerring and methodology of performing management’s efficiency evaluation were presented. For an efficient development of branch companies, the improved methodology for the evaluation of enterprise competitiveness was recommended. Also, the measures concerning the managerial re-engenerring on the level of the branch were suggested.
Theoretical significance and applied value of the work paper. Theoretical statements can create methodology’s elements for future scientifical investigations. At the same time the research can be offered as bibliographical source for educational economic institutions. Practical recommendations, presented in the dissertation, can be used by the enterprises from Light Industry from the Republic of Moldova and will contribute to the increase of efficiency in their activity in the conditions of market economy.
Scientific results implementation. Some measures and recommendations that are reflected
in the thesis has been implemented by JSC „Ionel” and LTD „Şaltoianca”.
