Summary

The thesis consists on 120 pages and is composed of an introduction, 4 chapters, general conclusions, practical recommendations, a bibliography that comprises 255 sources, 6 annexes, 12 figures and 31 tables. The obtained results are published in 23 scientific worksand one invent tion.

The field of the study: Ophthalmology.

The aim of the study: Consists in elaboration of clinico-immunologic system of diagnosis, conservative and surgical treatment and regular medical check-up of patients who suffer from uveitis associated with anchylosed spondylarthritis and reactive arthritis for minimizing the relapses, diminishing the numberof complications and keeping eye functions.

The objectives of the study: Investigation of clinical peculiarities of uveitis, determination of the immune changes in patients with uveitis; the elaboration of an algorithm of prediction of the evolution of uveitis in dependence of the presence of complex HLA-B27; the study dedicated to the effectiveness of the medicament "Oftaquix" in the complex treatment of uveitis; the elaboration of an algorithm of complex surgical treatment for complicated cataract in patients with anchylosed spondylarthritis and reactive arthritis.

Methodology of the scientific investigation: There has been used clinic, analytic and prospective study in the work. The held investigations included the comparable groups. The choice of the data for clinical investigations was of "case-control" type.

Novelty and originality of the investigation: There are exposed characteris tic clinical peculiarities of the clinical course of uveitis. There have been elaborated some schemas for diagnostics and complex treatment of patients with uveitis that is based on the study of T and B lymphocytes, cytokines, HLA-B27 and their role in the prognostication of the evolution of the uveitis.

Theoretical significance and applied value of the work: The data obtained in the course of the study completed the knowledge of ophthalmologists concerning uveitis associated with anchylosed spondylarthritis and reactive arthritis. There has been elaborated an algorithm of prediction of the evolution of uveitis in dependence of the presence of complex HLA-B27, and an algorithm of complex surgical treatment for complicated cataract in patients with an chylosed spondylarthritis and reactive arthritis.

Implementation of the obtained results: The results of the study have been implemented in current activity of ophthalmology chair USMF "N. Testemiţanu", Ophthalmology Clinic Nr2 and chair Internal Medicine Nr1.
