Summary

The thesis consists of the introduction, 5 chapters, conclusions, recommendations, bibliography of 238 sources, 102 pages of basic text, 28 figures, 19 tables. The obtained results were publicated in 19 scientific works.

The research domain: 03.00.07 – Microbiology.

The aim of the work: the elucidation of the antimicrobial and antioxidant activities of the locally produced compound Enoxil and its use in the local treatment of the leg ulcers, combustional, mechanical and postoperational wounds.

The research objectives: the elaboration of the obtaining procedure of a new polyfunctional compound from enotannins, with high water and alcochol solubility; the establishment of the antimicrobial and antioxidant activities of the obtained compound – Enoxil; the elucidation of the enzymatic activity peculiarities and structural modifications of the bacterial cells under the Enoxil action; the elucidation of the Enoxil regenerative capacity for the local treatment of the leg ulcers, combustional, mechanical, and postoperational wounds.

The novelty and the scientific originality: The elaboration of a complex tannic compound, polyfunctional (Enoxil), with high antimicrobial (the increase of the wall permeability, inhibition of the enzymatic and multiplication activities), antioxidant(free-radical scavenging) and regenerative properties.

The scientific solved problem: The establishement of the antimicrobial, antioxidant and regenerative activities of a new locally produced compound of tannic origin – Enoxil. The theoretical significance: the elucidation of the antimicrobial and antioxidant properties of a new tannic origin compound – Enoxil.

The applicative value of the work: The elaboration of the locally produced compound Enoxil efficient in the treatment of the plagues of diverse etiology and profitable from the economical point of view.

The implementation of the scientific results: On the basis of Enoxil were implemented the obtaining technologies of the lotions and ointments at the “FARMACO” company. The compound Enoxil was tested at the: Republican Dermato-Venerology Dispencer, Mamology Unit of the Oncology Institute, Combustiology Unit of the Clinical Republican Traumatological Hospital, Clinical Republican Hospital for Children “E.Cotsaga”.
