PhD thesis in medicine, Chisinau 2015. The work is exposed on 120 pages, comprising: the introduction, 5 chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography of 186 titles, 13 annexes 16 tables and 25 figures. The results are published in the 17 of scientific works. The keywords: ankylosing spondylitis, urogenital reactive arthritis, eyes impairment, the clinical and evolutional peculiarities, quality of life. Domain of study: rheumatology. Goal of research consisted in the research of eye impairment in ankylosing spondylitis and urogenital reactive arthritis, their correlation with joint and extra-joint injury degree, the paraclinical data and their influence on quality of life of the patients. Objectives of the research were the determination of the evolution of special features of AS and urogenital reactive arthritis (ReA) with eye impairment, establishing the type of eye injuries in each disease and the study of interrelation between eye impairment and clinical and paraclinical data of ankylosing spondylitis and urogenital reactive arthritis, with subsequent determination of the impact on quality of life of patients. Novelty and originality of research. Has been carried out for the first time, a comparative analysis of AS and urogenitale ReA with eye injury. Originality of study was in separating each disease with or without eye disturbances, to identify the types of ophthalmic manifestations in each type of arthritis, and the evolution, clinical and paraclinical peculiarities, determination of prognosis of AS and urogenital ReA with eye manifestations. Scientific problem addressed in thesis consists in elucidation of the clinical and paraclinical peculiarities of AS and urogenital ReA with eye injures with the determination types of ophthalmic manifestations. Theoretical importance of the research was in confirmation of the significance of the study of eye disturbances, researching of serological, inflammatory, immune and the genetic changes in AS and urogenitale ReA. Applied value. The types and the frequency of eye disturbances in AS and urogenitale ReA were established. The dependence of eye manifestations with joint syndrome, the severity and activity rheumatological disease, inflammatory and immune changes in onset and late stadies of the AS and urogenitale ReA was determined. Concomitantly it was demonstrated the role of risk factors in the emergence and development of joint and eye events which confirmed the negative impact on the quality of life in patients of the study. Scientific problem addressed in thesis. Study results were implimented in curative activity of the Department of Rheumatology and Ophtalmology, City Clinical Hospital "Holy Trinity" in the lecture courses for doctors at improvement classes at Internal Medicine № 5 (rheumatology and nephrology) Department of Internal Medicine SMFU "Nicolae Testemiţanu".
