The work is based on comparative analysis of the results of chronic nonspecific prostatitis treatment, who undergone drug therapy and low intensity lasertherapy with magnetotherapy and another group, who undergone drug therapy and physiotherapy.
The analysis of results and influence factors of therapy efficacy was done on the basis of known clinical and laboratory diagnostic methods of chronic prostatitis and according of data of biochemistry study of expressed prostate secretions: pH, total protein, alkaline and acid phosphatase, tartrat dependent and tartrat independent acid phosphatase, phosphatic index, elastase, arilsulfatase A and B, lysozyme, arilsulfatase C, β-glucuronidase, cathepsin G, N-acetil- β-D-glucozaminidaza , trypsin şi α1-antitrypsin .
The aim of our work was to determine the efficacy of laseromagnetotherapy in complex of chronic nonspecific prostatitis therapy and to study the perspective of using of biochemistry parameters of expressed prostate secretion for diagnosis and watching on therapy efficacy. The study included 258 patients with chronic nonspecific prostatitis in the age 18 – 55 years, the mean 33, 7 years. The pathology duration was between primary diagnosed and 15 years, the mean 3 years. The most patients were in the young age (78, 3%) and with duration of pathology 1 – 3 years (38, 8%).
The analysis of therapy results showed higher efficacy of laseromagnetotherapy (χ2=15, 1; p<0,002). Especial, the high efficacy of laseromagnetotherapy was revealed in relieving of pain syndrome (χ2=21,0; p<0,001) and improving of sexual function. No difference between used methods in therapy of urethritis and dysuria.
The factors of influence of therapy were determinated: the patient age, androgenization and pathomorphological changes of prostate tissue. Young age and higher androgenization of prostate improve therapy results (X2=18,8; p<0,02), the pathomorphological changes of prostate tissue reduce the efficacy (X2=8,2; p<0,005).
Determination of the next biochemistry parameters of expressed prostate secretions: pH,
alkaline and acid phosphatase, tartrat dependent and tartrat independent acid phosphatase
phosphatic index, elastase, arilsulfatase A and B, lysozyme are useful for diagnostic and watching
on the therapy efficacy of chronic nonspecific prostatitis.
