Field of study: Pedagogy.
The purpose of research is to optimize the structure of the physical training for the 13-14 year-old junior football players based on special exsercise training of differentiated approach depending on their game positions.
Objectives: 1. Studying and theoretically generalizing the process of young footballers’ sports training playing in different positions in the course of a one-year training cycle. 2. Establishing the content and assessing the degree of young football players’ specific and differentiated physical training depending on their positions on the field. 3. Experimentally developing a system of special and differentiated physical means of training for junior football players depending on their game positions. 4. Theoretically reasoning and experimentally assessing the efficiency of the special and differentiated means of physical training for junior football players depending on their game positions.
Novelty and scientific originality consists in the fact that the problem of junior football players’ special physical training depending on their positions on the field (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, striker) within the framework of a yearly training cycle has been researched for the first time. Applying special means the efficiency of the differentiated development of special physical footballers’ qualities depending on their game positions has been assessed. It was established the effect of the differentiated physical training upon players' activity and quality of technical and tactical performance.
The settled current major scientific issue in this area covers a differentiated approach to the young footballers’ special physical training on different positions on the field (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, striker) through the development and experimental verification of the special and differentiated physical training program in the course of a yearly training cycle, which will further optimize the level of special physical training and enhance the effectiveness of the game.
Paper theoretical significance: Following the review of literature in the field, teachers’ observations during the experiment, and relying on survey data, there have been prioritized the development of physical qualities specific to young players depending on their game positions, the ways of their manifestations, determining the special and differentiated physical training level in the course of one-year training cycle, which, in their turn, extend and complement the existing layout in the theory and methodology of sports training in football.
Practical significance of the work is given by the opportunity of ample use of the experimental program and developed methodology focused on special and differentiated physical training for 13-14 year-old footballers in the course of a yearly training cycle. The achieved results can be used as scientific and methodologic material by specialized sports schools football coaches and by students of higher education PE and sports institutions specializing in football.
Implementation of scientific results. The scientific results of the research have been implemented into the training process of CTYF ”Zimbru” Chisinau, Footbal Sport School Chisinau, Sport School Cahul, Association Municipal Sport Club Dunarea Galati Romania, Association Sport Club „Danubius Kinder Sport” Galati Romania.
