Thesis structure: introduction, five chapters, conclusions and recommendations, 234 bibliographic sources, 13 annexes, 238 pages basic text, 88 figures and 116 tables. The obtained results are published in 61 scientific papers.
Field of study: 321.16 - ENT (otorhinolaryngology).
Purpose of study: Research of formation mechanisms and diagnostic aspects of different clinical forms of chronic tonsillitis in children for optimization of differentiated conservative treatment. Objectives: To research general and local immune mechanisms in different clinical forms of chronic tonsillitis in children. To determine the efficiency of local immunostimulation with autologous mononuclear cells, "Synflorix" vaccine and BioR immunomodulator in the complex conservative treatment of chronic tonsillitis.
Scientific innovation. There were determined immunological manifestations in general and local immunity in children with various forms of chronic tonsillitis and risk factors in the development of follow-up complications. There was confirmed clinical and immunological efficiency of local application of autologous mononuclear cells, vaccinotherapy with "SynflorixTM" and BioR preparation in the complex conservative treatment of chronic tonsillitis.
The fundamentally new results in science and practice consist in development and scientific fundamentation of a complex of methods to diagnose the forms of chronic tonsillitis in children, and highlight timely risk factors that favor the development of follow-up complications and optimize etiopathogenetic therapy, which led to improvement of the quality of life of these patients.
Theoretical significance and applied value of the work. The importance of immunological examinations of general and local immunity in children with chronic tonsillitis was argued in order to facilitate the diagnosis and prognosis of the inflammatory process, correct choice of etiopathogenetic therapeutic tactics in inpatient or outpatient care.
Implementation of scientific results. The results were implimented in practice of pediatric otorhinolaryngology clinic "E.Coţaga" PMSI Institute of Mother and Child by ENT specialists.
