The establishment of the school evaluation principles of musical culture of the students determined by the specific musical-artistic knowledge. Emotional experiencing of music constitutes the central point in the act of musical interception and education; the point of departure in musicalartistic cognition, in forming musical culture and the action of evaluation of musical culture.
Musical culture, as a major finality of musical education that constitutes of musical experience (qualitative-formative aspect) and musical competence (quantitative-informative aspect).The level of musical culture of the students may be appreciated comparing with the degree of covering the (terms’ subjects) with the students experience and musical competence. Qualitative evaluation criteria of students’ musical culture are the basic indices for determining and getting (obtaining) musical experience: students’ activity, the presence/absence of emotional experience during the musical act positive attitudes about the music.
The types of school results in musical education correspond to the structural components of
musical culture and form their contents: musical experience being expressed by sensibility,
perception, intelligence, attitudes etc. And musical competence which are expressed by musical
knowledge/about music and musical capacities.
