Summary

The “Avicola-Nord” poultry farm from Făleşti, Republic of Moldova carried experiments upon three egg hybrids, imported from Romania, namely: “ROSO-SL-2000”, “ROSO-SL-93” and “ALBO-70”, which have been grown in the same conditions of maintenance and fodder in order of defining the best productive cross.

Along the research, there have been taken such characteristics as bodily weight dynamics at different stages; eggs production; eggs weight; egg-mass production; ovoalbumines types, haemoglobin, transferrine and ceruloplasmine; some morphological indexes. Simultaneously were studied such genetical parameters as heritability and correlation genotypical; fenotypical and environmental, and the hens from the best cross have been inseminated with cock semens of warious breed to get incubation eggs and young hen to ensure the necessities of farm poultry breeders with valuable biologic material.

As a result, it was settled down that the best indicators have shown the hens of the “ROSO-SL-2000” cross, with a better bodily weight than the other two crosses (more 318-585 g); with a progressive viability – at 70 weeks term it was fixed the 89,1% quota, that is higher with about 12,4 – 14,1%; the number of the eggs laid in this period were of 237,34 or more with 8,46 – 15,11 in comparison with the other two crosses; the one egg mass was – 62,01 g (higher with 0,76 and 1,85 g); the egg-mass production consisted 14,717 g (or progressively with 1,106 and 0, 948 kg). The coefficients heritability and of the correlation differed frequently in various groups according to their value, and the immunity similitude coefficient calculated for 6 loci was the highest between the “ROSO-SL-2000” and “ROSO-SL-93” crosses –0,9601 ± 0,0010 that demonstrates their common origin.

The comparisons effected among the different cocks groups through artificial insemination demonstrated that each race or population have their own peculiarities in implementing this procedure. During the first 4 days of massage, 84,7% out of the cocks of breed Gât-golaş moldovenesc, 80% - of the “ROSO-SL-2000” cross and 66,7% - cocks of the breed Adler Silver reacted positively. The highest indexes of semens production had Gât-golaş moldovenesc – the ejaculation volume was 0,35 ml, sperms concentration of 3,22 billion/ml, mobility – 6,81 points, the lowest indexes have been scored by Adler Silver cocks.

As a result of the artificial selective fecundation, the highest fecundity and eclozionability happened when for the insemination was used a sperm mixture obtained from different cocks groups.
