Thesis structure: The work is exposed on 128 pages of basic text and includes: introduction, 4 chapters, synthesis of obtained outcomes, conclusions, practical recommendations, summary in Romanian, Russian, English, and bibliography of 223 sources, 42 figures, 8 tables and 2 formulas. Obtained results are published in 11 scientific works, inclusively 7 of one author.
Study domain: Laboratory Diagnostics 324.03. (Medicine).
Study goal: The study of interrelation between lipid peroxidation processes, antioxidant defense, serum lysosomal enzyme activity and cutaneous clinical manifestation in skin ageing as well as assaying of correction therapy efficacy.
Work subjects: Improving of knowledge regarding etiological, pathogenetic and clinical factors involved in chronological skin aging; identifying features of lipid peroxidation processes and antioxidant status in the process of skin aging; studying of lysosomal enzyme activity and connective tissue enzyme metabolism in skin aging; establishing of correlations between clinical manifestations and serum biochemical features in chronological skin aging; comparative study of complex traditional treatment efficiency with therapeutic strategies including hyaluronic acid concerning clinic-biochemical parameters.
Scientific novelty and originality: for the first time has been estimated the correlative link between lipid peroxidation intensity, antioxidant status, lysosomal enzyme activation, markers of connective tissue metabolism and cutaneous clinical manifestations in chronological skin aging. The gain of hyaluronic acid adding in complex treatment of cutaneous modification related to ageing in clinical and serum biochemical changes recovery has been emphasized.
The scientific problem settled in thesis consists in scientific substantiation of role of pro- and antioxidant system, lysosomal enzymes and connective tissue metabolism markers in evolution of related to age dermal modifications as well as of hyaluronic acid in recovery of skin chronological lesions, which led to improving of knowledge referred to pathogenic mechanisms and optimization of therapeutic management in patients with skin modifications of age.
Theoretical significance. The obtained results enlarge the concept of lipid peroxidation-antioxidant system mismatch as well of lysosomal complex liability in skin ageing. The oxidative stress impact on cellular level in skin ageing was clinically and biochemically quantified, being both as a criterion for diagnosis and treatment and prognostic predictor as well.
Applicative value of work: Hyaluronic acid and antioxidant remedies included in complex therapeutic formula offer important clinical and biochemical benefits, therapeutic arsenal being augmented by antioxidant and membrane-stabilizing potential closely necessary for boosting of therapeutic management of chronologic skin ageing.
Implementation of scientific results. The main results of study are applied in didactic
process of department of Laboratory Medicine of the State Medical and Pharmaceutical
