Field of research: pediatrics, epidemiology, medical virology, microbiology, immunology, recuperation.

Thesis purpose: research of risk factors of community-acquired pneumonia, formation of recurrent respiratory of children with community-acquired pneumonia; studying and evaluation of antigenic, phenotypic and genotypic characteristics, flu strain, isolated and found out of IRVA at children within the period 2011-2015 in the Republic of Moldova; evaluation of changes of proteometabolism, immune status, pro-inflammatory and inflammatory cytokines in finding out of pathogenetic mechanisms; use of local produced drug Pacovirin within recuperation programs.

Scientific novelty of the research: for the first time there were obtained original results related to antigenic, phenotypic and genotypic characteristics of influenza viruses, acute respiratory diseases at children within the period 2011-2014. Comparative and complex approach towards pneumonia, risk factors of recurrent respiratory, virologic, bacterial, immuno-pathogenetic, antibiotics resistance. First use of the local produced drug Pacovirina within the programs of clinico-immunological recuperation after childhood recurrent respiratory.

Scientifical problem: Pathogenetic argumentation of risk factors, immuno-metabolic disorders, acute and resistant viral infections in childhood pneumonia and recurrent respiratory; scientific evidence of influenza viruses, IRVA at children within integration of the latest techniques, application of strategies on the regional and global levels in the framework of supervising, control of the response potential within interepidemic period in accordance with requirements of WHO, ECDC and CDC.

Theoretical significance. The research has shown unstudied aspects in pathogenesis of community-acquired pneumonia, childhood recurrent respiratory. The obtained results will contribute to improvement and optimization of the permanent clinical-epidemiological supervision of acute influenza virus cases, IRVA, SARI. Applicative value of the work. The obtained results can lead to improvement of management, treatment of community-acquired pneumonia and recurrent respiratory at children in the risk group; adjustment of the recuperation program; elaborating and realization of preventive and controlling measures related to acute virus diseases.

Application of the scientific results. The results provide the basis for PC optimization and standardization of the associated risk factors; permanent control of the resistance to antibiotics in cases of community-acquired and secondary pneumonia; they also contribute into improving of clinical-epidemiological and virologic control system for influenza, IRVA and SARI to realize in real time the control measures, check and response while integrating into regional (EuroFlu/TESSy) and global (FluNet) supervising systems of WHO.
