The given thesis is devoted to the analyzing of the economic mechanisms of the agriculture of the developed countries from Europe and to the possibilities of applying the European management experience to agricultural branch of Moldova. In these purposes have been underlined specific particularities of the European agricultural management, European Union legislation in force regarding the economical activity of the agricultural enterprises, in special the Common Agricultural policy and the main tendencies of the European Union policies regarding the agricultural finance support.
In the thesis are revealed the stages for the realization of agricultural reform, which took place in Republic Moldova: the process of approbation of the agricultural legislation, the transition from state to a private property and the appearance of the new farm structures into agricultural sector of the country. The accent is put on the economic and social results of agricultural reform: land privatization, the consequences of the reorganization of agricultural enterprises, the material and technical base and the developing tendencies of agricultural farm as result of the government farm policy, in special fiscal policy and financial support from state budget in the period of transition to the market economy.
From the practical point of view, there has been proposed recommendation regarding the applying European farm management experience to agricultural branch of Moldova. Special considerations have been offered to the problems regarding land consolidation and to the main ways of financial support of agriculture.
The main results of the research have been published and approved at scientific
conferences of different level.
