Summary

Thesis structure: the curent research has 209 pages and contains: introduction, 6 chapters, conclusions, recommendations, 343 references, 47 tables, 9 diagrams, 3 schemes, 141 pictures, 13 supplements. Based on this theme the author published 39 scientific papers.

Domain of research: Human anatomy.

Aim: the aim of the research is to deepen the knowledge about structural and topographic, tensometric peculiarities of the spleenoligamentous complex (SLC) components. Based on clinical material, an attempt to systematize the incidence of traumatic injuries of the spleen is performed; heterotopic autografting of spleen tissue is monitored experimentally.

Objectives of the thesis:to perform a study of nervous and vascular components of SLC. Ascertaining possibilities of abdominal aortic arteriography. To study the phenomenon of accessory spleen. By retrograde analysis of 290 cases, incidence and types of traumatic injuries of the spleen have been researched. Monitoring heterotopic autografting of spleen fragments after splenectomy has been performed experimentally. Determination of main tensometric parameters of SLC.

Scientific novelty and originality. In the current research for the first time SLC was studied using morphological, clinical, experimental and biomechanical methods. Main tensometric parameters of spleen ligaments have been determined. The incidence of traumatic injuries of the spleen has been studied. In experiment, the heterotopic (intramuscular) autografting of spleen fragments followed a splenectomy.

Principially new results for science and practice. Research of blood vessels, nerves, accessory spleens, morphometric and tensometric properties of the SLC components. The attempt to diminish manifestations of PS by heterotopic autografting of spleen fragments.

Theoretical and applied significance of the paper. A comprehensive research of SLC has been performed by determining morphometric parameters, biomechanical properties of the ligaments, incidence and types of traumatic injuries of the spleen. In experiment, monitoring heterotopic autografting of spleen fragments after splenectomy was performed.

Practical value of the paper. Linear parameter values of the spleen have been analyzed and determined by morphometric and ultrasound methods. A new method of heterotopic autografting of spleen fragments after a splenectomy has been developed. The technique of corrosion preparation of the SLC component blood vessels has been improved.

The scientific problem solved in the thesis. In the paper, structural and tensometric properties of the SLC components are comprehensively analyzed, including the applied aspect.

Implementation of the results. The results have been implemented in the educational process at the morphology departments of SUMPh ,,Nicolae Testemitanu” and several medical universities abroad (Chernivtsi, Smolensk, Vitebsk, Grodno).
