The studied domain: Hematology
The aim of the study: Clinical, hematological, morphological and immunohistochemical study of indolent non-Hodgkin's lymphomas for to identify some facts of diagnostic and evolution of each type of indolent NHL.
The objectives of the study: Evaluation of clinical aspects of variants indolent NHL. Studying peculiarities indolent NHL by age and sex. Estimation of indolent NHL character metastasis. Determining the areas of extranodal metastasis stages of generalizing the tumor process in indolent NHL. Haematological indices have studied peripheral blood and bone marrow depending on the variant indolent NHL. Analyze morphological changes, immunohistochemical according variants indolent NHL. Evaluation indices patient survival depending on the variant indolent NHL.
Novelty and originalty of the study: From the standpoint of an analytical study were assessed overall clinical picture and laboratory features of patients with different variants of indolent NHL. A first initiative was to assess the clinical and hematological aspects in conjunction with morphological and immunohistochemical investigations in accordance with International Classification of haematological malignancies hemopoietic and lymphatic tissue of WHO in 2008. The work delineated and specified immunohistochemical spectrum of research and clinical development for each variant indolent NHL.
The scientific problem solved in the thesis: They have highlighted the clinical and hematologic each variant of indolent NHL. A research elucidated the role of morphological, immunohistochemical differential diagnosis of indolent NHL forms.
Theoretical significance: Highlighting the clinical and hematological correlated with morphologic and immunohistochemical research will contribute to broadening the knowledge aspect conduct clinical diagnostic optimization, improvement and individualizing therapy.
Applicable value of this study: Results of the study argued informativity, utility and contemporary research complex methods for patients with indolent NHL different variants, including hematologic, morphological and immunohistochemical research. It was identified by age and sex of the segment most frequently affected in indolent NHL. They were determined areas of initial metastasis and remote metastasis frequency and location depending on the morphological and immunohistochemical variant extranodal indolent NHL. It was developed an algorithm for determining the use of monoclonal antibodies variant indolent NHL.
The results have been introduced: The results obtained in the study were implemented in everyday practice of the Department of Hematology and Consultative Diagnostic Center of Oncological Institute, Republic of Moldova and the training of students, residents and doctors to perfecting Department Oncology, Hematology and Radiotherapy Medical University "N.Testemiţanu". Based on this study was developed an algorithm method of using monoclonal antibodies to determine variant indolent NHL, which was registered as innovation.
