The structure of the thesis: the thesis consists of an introduction, 3 chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography (242 titles), 7 annexes, a glossary and it is of a length of 140 pages, including 33 figures and 18 tables. The results of the research are published in 15 scientific papers.
Field of study: psychology, the creativity of the preschool child The purpose of the research: is to identify the conditions for optimizing the process of capitalizing on creative potential in preschools by highlighting the impact of the educational programs Step by Step and the traditional one and parenting skills; Developing formative approaches to stimulate creativity and a parenting program geared to the development of parenting skills.
As research objectives we proposed: identification of the specifics of the development of creativity in preschool children included in different types of educational programmes; determination of the relationship between the factors of creativity and parental competences in preschool children educated in different types of educational programmes; development and experimental validation of the formative programme of developing creativity in preschool children and the parental competences of their parents; determining the effectiveness of the programmes of intervention and proposing some recommendations of developing the preschool children’s creativity for teachers, psychologists, and parents.
The important scientific problem solved in this research is represented by new clarifications regarding the development of creativity in preschool children by identification of the specifics of the manifestation of creativity of children included in different types of educational programmes, by determination of the impact of the formative programme on the development of creativity in preschool children and the parental programme on the development of parental skills.
The scientific novelty and originality of the obtained results is materialized in the establishment and development of the theoretical and methodological aspects regarding: the achievement, at a national level, of the experimental comparative study of the development of the creative potential in preschool children included in different types of educational programmes; the demonstration of the fact that parental skills are dominant in the development of the preschool children’s creativity; the complex of the formative activities especially organized for the development of creativity in preschool children, together with the development of the parental skills, has been proposed and implemented.
The theoretical significance refers to the research, examination and prominence of the particularities of the development of creativity in preschool in the educational process. Thus, the results of the investigations enrich the theoretical basis of phychology with new knowledge regarding the specific of the development of the creative potential in preschool children educated through both the traditional programme and the step-by-step one, as well as of the role of the parental competences in the development of this phenomenon.
The applicative value of the work:. The results constitute the Foundation of a guide of good practices through the development, implementation snd val8idation of psychological intervention programs for and hteir perents and can be used in the process of developing program training for in prescool institutions.
Approval and implementation of the scientific results: the results of the research were discussed and approved within the pale of the meetings of the psychology department of Ion Creanga State Pedagogical University.
Important aspects were presented and approved at the Scientific National and International Conferences. The materials presented in the paper have been implemented in the kindergartens in Targu Jiu, in teaching the university courses of Phychopedagogy of creativity and Preschool Phychology, courses of specialization and professional training of teachers in preschool education, school teachers, and psychologists who are interested in the studied area.
