Summary

Field of research:social philosophy

The main aimis to identify the ways that facilitate configuration of the dialogue in migrants’ hosting societies, in order to identify the opportunities that facilitate their social integration and their cultural identity formation. To achieve this goal, the following objectives were established: to identify the theoretical and methodological background of the cultural dialogue in contemporary migration; define the dialogue integration´ difficulties in terms of social philosophy; analyze the instruments of the operational cultural dialogue concept in migrants’ hosting countries; highlight the premises of cultural dialogue configuration; identify the cultural dialogue dimensions in migrants’ hosting society; advocate the need to study the current theoretical and practical aspects of cultural dialogue in migrants’ hosting society; develop a model of migrants´ transformation through cultural dialogue.

The originality and innovation of the researchconsist in a vast analysis of the cultural dialogue of multiple migrants in hosting societies, through the identification of the premises and factors that influence its configuration and arguing for its´ practical application of the complex and interdisciplinary research topic. The originality of the thesis lays in the combination of common philosophical and general-scientific research methods in parallel with the contemporary qualitative research methods: NVivo and Atlas.ti. Additionally, the concept of multiple migrants it is introduced that represent the emergent contemporary social reality.

The important scientific problemaddressed in the area of social philosophy is to scientificaly found the spheres of cultural dialogue inside hosting society, in order to elucidate the premises and the dimensions that facilitate its establishment, with the result to identify solutions aimed at making the cultural dialogue between migrants and the members of the hosting society more efficient, starting from the peculiarities of migration processes from R.M., and demonstrating the theoretical importance and applicative value of studying the specificity of the cultural dialogue in hosting society for the scientific value of the contemporary social reality.

The theoretical significance of the thesisconsists in the identification of a new and distinctive dimension of cultural dialogue in the hosting societies in the field of social philosophy.

The practical valueof the study consists in identifying and developing a model of cultural dialogue, which influences the social integration and cultural identity of the migrants in the hosting society.

The research results were examined and approved in scientific meetings of the I.H. of the ASM as well as had a practical implementation during the profetional work at BRD. Additionally, the research results were presented during various national and international seminars and conferences, being relevant for teaching in higher education institutions, for the state bodies in the development of strategies, action plans, programs and projects that deal with the cultural dialogue of migrants in the hosting societies
