Summary

PhD thesis in pedagogy. Chisinau, 2018 Thesis structure includes: the introduction, three chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, a bibliography of 291 sources, 19 annexes, 150 pages of the basic text, 5 figures and 29 tables.

Publications on the thesis theme: the obtained results were published in 13 scientific papers. Field of study: General Pedagogy - Literary-artistic education of students.

The purpose of research: To determine/develop and systematize some theoretical references in order to develop the literary-artistic axiology of students in the context of studying texts of the French and English literature.

The objectives of research: todetermine/develop, systematize the scientific references on the literary-artistic axiology; to determine the development level of the literary-artistic axiology of students in the field of foreign literature; to develop the theoretical model of literary-artistic activity specific to the study of foreign literary works; to carry out the experimental validation of the developed model and to establish the conditions for the development of the literary-artistic axiology of students; to write the research conclusions and recommendations for the development of students’ literary-artistic axiology based on scientific principles.

Scientific novelty and originality of the research consist in: the approach of the literaryartistic texts in the process of learning a foreign professional language as defining units in developing students’ literary axiology and, respectively, in deepening and enriching the nationaluniversal relationship in their general axiological system; the configuration of the theoretical basis - ideas, concepts, principles, etc. on the development of students’ literary-artistic axiology through the prism of foreign languages: the type of artistic and aesthetic knowledge of the world - the origin of literature in creating verbal artistic images - the re-creation of the literary work based on the reading activity of the reader - the literary-artistic education – the literary-artistic values as the supreme expression of educational values, etc.

The applicative value of research consists in: determining the literary-artistic axiology of students acquired through the study of foreign languages; establishing the levels of students’ literary-artistic development based on the study of literary-artistic texts from foreign literatures; providing university teachers with a general model of development of students’ literary axiology by studying literary-artistic texts of foreign literatures in original.

The implementation of the scientific results was accomplished by thesis author didactic activity within the SAUM as a foreign language teacher, presentations at national and international scientific forums and scientific publications.
