Summary

Title of the thesis: Effect iveness of sustainable business management in the postal services sector Required scientific degree: Thesis of Doctor of Economic Sciences Specialty: 521.03 Economics and management in the field of activity Location: Chisinau Year of thesis completion: 2018. Structure of the thesis: introduction, three chapters, general conclusions and recommendat ions, bibliography - 153 tit les, 120 pages of basic text, 15 figures, 12 tables and 9 annexes. Number of publications on the thesis: The obtained results - are published in 7 scient ific papers. Key words: services management, efficiency, entrepreneurship, postal services. The aim and objectives of the thesis are to develop the theoretical and methodological provisions and the efficiency of sustainable business management in the postal services sector, as a main condition for the development of sustainable business management in the modern market economy. The scientific novelty and originality of the research consists in the specification of the theoretical positions and the development of the technologies for the management efficiency increase concerning sustainable business services in the conditions of the changing external environments; clarifying the economic and managerial essence of sustainable affairs in the postal services sector, conducted under conditions of risk and uncertainty; elaboration of methodical recommendations for the formation of sustainable business management in the field of postal services, based on the objectives and results through the complex use of the strategic planning and marketing elements; the formulation of the basic principles of efficient business management in the postal services sector through the application of the theory of evolution and international practices. The realized scientific problem is the development of the theoretical and methodological provisions for the sustainability of business management in the postal services sector, as the main condition for the development of sustainable business management in the modern market economy, the fact that confirm the clarification of the economic and managerial essence of sustainable business in the postal services sector, conducted in conditions of risks and uncertainty, that contributed to the determination of the new features of strategic planning and marketing, the improvement of the managerial accounting processes in postal services sector, by the creation of the responsibility centers ensuring the increase of the information volume concerning the services demand and strict control over the efficiency of the business support. The theoretical significance of the work has led to a complex methodological approach, based on the coherent combination of the theoretical argumentation with the practical application of the proposed approaches and recommendations. The results of the research can form the basis for a further scientific research aimed to increase sustainable business management procedures in the field of postal services. The applicative value of the paper is the use of evolutionary theory, as well as methodical recommendations and practical proposals that ensure the possibility of obtaining complete, objective and truthful information about the true situation in the postal services sector. The practical use of the obtained results can enable managers and specialists in postal services to use the strategic planning and marketing elements, develop a system of measures in order to improve the organization of managerial accounting by creating of responsibility centers. Implementation of the scientific results. The basic outcomes and conclusions have been presented and approved on several internat ional scient ific conferences and found practical application in the activities of companies: SC „VAN-VALINA Trans.”, Romania; SRL „Dragota Trans.”, Moldova.
