Structure of the thesis: consists of introduction, five chapters, conclusions and recommendations, annotations in Romanian, Russian and English, bibliography from 322 sources, 151 basic text pages and 5 annexes. The results of the research were published in 25 scientific publications. Key-words: ethnology, Bulgarian studies, cultural heritage, patrimonialization, vernacular architecture, building materials and techniques, South-Basarabian house, Bulgarians from the Republic of Moldova, tourist valorisation. Field of study: ethnology The aim: reflecting the multilateral evolution of the traditional Bulgarian house from the current space of the Republic of Moldova as part of the cultural heritage by carrying out complex researches from the perspective of scientific, socio-cultural, museum, economic and tourist value. The objectives: analyzing the historiography and determining the degree of research of the problem of the diachronic evolution of the traditional Bulgarian house in the Republic of Moldova; identification and re-listing of the authentic houses of the Bulgarians in order to be introduced in the scientific, cultural and tourist circuit; the determination of the evolution of the typology, of the traditional construction practices, in order to establish the level of preservation of the houses up to the present time, through the internal and external factors; the synthesis of the ethnocultural interference domains related to the traditional house between the ethnic groups on the territory of Moldova; highlighting the importance of housing perception as part of the immaterial heritage of Bulgarians and identifying opportunities for their preservation and use for tourism purposes; specifying the changes that occurred to Bulgarians in the Republic of Moldova, in the context of the housing construction practices; analyze the different experience of capitalizing traditional houses by means of patrimonization and the establishment of the main ways of further capitalizing on the traditional Bulgarian house in a museum and tourist aims. Scientific novelty: presentation of the multilateral evolution of the traditional house of the Bulgarians in the Republic of Moldova as part of the cultural heritagewith the introduction into the scientific circulation of the original field material, applying the interdisciplinary approach to the study of the traditional house; the work argues for the necessity of patrimonialisation of the houses and outlines various practical ways of using as a cultural heritage. The obtained result: it contributes to solving an important scientific problem and consists in the complex elucidation of the transformation of the traditional houses and the perceptions connected with them to the Bulgarians in the Republic of Moldova, the European and national practice of patrimonization of the cultural heritage, resulting in completing gaps in the study of this culture component and foundation of a series of practical ways of their preservation as part of the national heritage, for later use for museum and tourist purpose. Theoretical value: the materials introduced in the scientific circuit, some for the first time, will contribute to the amplification of the ethnographic study of the Bulgarian community in the Republic of Moldova; proposes a complex research methodology for the house; contributes to the relaunching of the multilateral research of traditional Bulgarian houses. The applicative value: the results of the research can be used for the development of special courses of ethnology and cultural anthropology; history, culture and traditions of Bulgarians in the Republic of Moldova for high school students. Practical recommendations can also be helpful to owners of traditional houses, regional and local museums. Implementation of scientific results: the results of research was achieved by developing a specialized university course The traditional dwellings of the peoples of the world for the students of the specialties of Architectural Design and Interior Design. A synthesis of the scientific research materials are introduced in the project under implementation „ The scientific platform for the valorization of the cultural heritage ” (Institute of Cultural Heritage).
