The thesis is composed of introduction; four chapters; general conclusions and recommendations; bibliography of 105 titles; 7 annexes; 122 pages of essential text; 65 figures and 29 tables. The obtained results are published in 9 scientific works.
Field of study - technics.
The work goal: Improvement of the technological indicators of the quality of precision sowing by optimizing the constructive-functional parameters of the punch planters’ organs of the rotary type seeders.
The work task: synthesis of information on the methods and technical means for the sowing of the seed, their classification, as well as the assessment of their functional capacities within the limits of agrotechnical requirements imposed on sowing machines; the theoretical study of the working process of the working organs for soil incorporation of the seed; the development of experimental samples and laboratory and field trials, with the evaluation of agro-technical and energy indices; investigating the exploitation characteristics of the organs for the incorporation of the seed; determining the economic effectiveness of using new working organs for sowing seed; the argumentation, on the basis of the obtained results, of the need to modernize the sowing operation. Methodology of scientific research: it provides for the use of the empirical method associated with the experimental verification of the theory and the evolution of natural and technical processes.
Scientific novelty and originality: the constructive-functional shape and parameters of the soil incorporation organs were argued; based on laboratory and field research, analytical and experimental dependencies have been obtained which offer the possibility of optimizing the constructive-functional and technological parameters of the soil incorporation organs of the seed.
Results: the use of optimized close-up organs of rotary sowing machines allows sowing of row crops with strict observance of the distance between seeds (plants) along the row and in depth at increased operating speeds, in the process of energy-saving technologies.
The theoretical value: of the thesis consists in a theoretical analysis of the work of rotary sowing machines, and modeling the interaction of the planter organs with the soil. The applied value: of the thesis is in the elaboration of the practical recommendations for optimizing and design the planter organs of rotary sowing machines, as well as using these results in the process of training of students and specialists.
Implementation of scientific results: The obtained results are formed the basis of the experimental model, subjected to tests by the representative of AGCO Ltd Ukraine (Ciabany, Kiev).
