Summary

The thesis is exposed on 173 electronic text pages, 129 basic text pages, and includes: introduction, 6 chapters, conclusions and practical recommendations, bibliography with 223 literary sources. The thesis is illustrated with 49 tables, 52 figures, 6 annexes. The obtained result s were published in 37 scient ific works, 4 innovator certificates and 1 patent of invent ion.

Domain of research: clinical neurology. Aim of study: Evaluation of video-EEG telemetry as a method of diagnosis of epilepsy with nocturnal epileptic seizures in order to optimize diagnostic behavior and treatment of patients with this pathology.

Study objectives: 1. Determination of the video-EEG telemetry diagnostic value in diagnosis of epilepsy with nocturnal epileptic seizures. 2. Identification of the morphology and EEG changes recorded by video-EEG telemetry and standard video-EEG in patients with epilepsy with nocturnal epileptic seizures as compared to patients with diurnal and mixed epileptic seizures. 3. Quantitative and qualitat ive evaluat ion of EEG changes in pat ients with nocturnal, diurnal and mixed seizures. 4. Assessing of the peculiarit ies of clinical polymorphism in epilepsy wit h nocturnal epileptic seizures. 5. Elucidation of neuroimaging changes, including cortical thickness and cortical areas in patients with nocturnal, diurnal and mixed seizures.

The scientific novelty and originality: Video-EEG telemetry has been evaluated in a clinical analytical observational study in patients with epileptic seizures. A first-time initiative was the evaluation of video-EEG telemetry as compared to the standard (routine) video-EEG method in patients with nocturnal, diurnal and mixed epileptic seizures.

The important scientific problem solved in the thesis: The clinical and neurophysiological peculiarities of epilepsy with nocturnal epileptic seizures and the diagnostic value of video-EEG telemetry. The theoretical and practical importance: The results of the study argued the utilit y and diagnostic value of video-EEG telemetry in the diagnosis of epilepsy with nocturnal seizures compared to standard video-EEG and epilepsies with diurnal and mixed epileptic seizures.

Practical implementation: The results of the study were implemented and valued in the neurology 2 department, in the Neurobiology and Medical Genetics Laboratory of USMF "N. Testemitanu", in the epileptology department and the National Center for Epileptology of the Institute of Emergency Medicine. 8 L
