Summary

Implementarea rezultatelor. Rezultatele cercetării sunt utile pentru elaborarea programelor educaționale destinate cadrelor medicale și populației în scopul conștientizării cefaleei ca patologie, precum și a formelor ei de profilaxie și tratament. Structure of the thesis: introduction, 5 chapters, conclusions and recommendations, bibliography with 170 titles, 121 pages of basic text, 34 figures, 25 tables, 7 annexes. The results obtained are presented in 11 scientific papers.

Field of study: Neurology, Pediatric neurology, Epidemiology, Public Health.

Purpose of the research: is to elucidate the clinico-epidemiological and medico-social peculiarities of primary headaches in adolescent population of the Republic of Moldova in order to determine the size and particularities of manifestation of the phenomenon in the studied population group in order to elaborate recommendations for evaluation and monitoring of adolescents with primary headache in the Republic of Moldova.

Objectives of the research:
1.Studying epidemiological peculiarities of primary headaches in adolescents by estimating general prevalence, by gender, age group and residence. 2. Estimation of the specific prevalence for each type (migraine and tension-type headache) of primary headaches, by gender, age group and residence area. 3. Estimation of the prevalence for each form of primary headache according to the frequency of headache / month (rare episodic migraine, frequent episodic migraine, chronic migraine, probable migraine, rare episodic tension-type headache, frequent episodic tension-type headache, and chronic tension-type headache), by gender, age group and residence area. 4. Analyzing the medical-social aspects of primary headaches in the adolescent population of the Republic of Moldova according to gender, age group and residence environment.5.Identification of the specific clinical and epidemiological pattern of primary headaches - migraine and tensional headache in adolescents in the Republic of Moldova.

Scientific novelty and originality: For the first time in the Republic of Moldova, a population survey was conducted and the level of the adolescent population with primary headache was determined. The epidemiological and medical-social peculiarities of primary headaches were analyzed in adolescents, according to gender, age group and residence environment. The particularities of primary headache manifestations have been identified in the adolescent population in the country.

The scientific problem solved in the thesis: consists of the elucidation of the clinicoepidemiological and medical-social features of primary headaches in adolescents in the Republic of Moldova, which made it possible to determine the size and particularities of manifestation of the cephalalgic phenomenon in the studied population group, which will contribute to the optimization of diagnostic strategies, prophylaxis and treatment in this area.

Theoretical significance: The present study is a theoretical support for the elucidation of general and specific morbidity through primary headache in adolescents in the Republic of Moldova, as well as for the appreciation of the interrelationship of prevalence values with some medical and social factors. Current research values the theoretical significance of pediatric cephalalgia and will substantiate the continuation and development of the research of the clinical-epidemiological particularities of primary headaches in the adolescent population
Applied Value: The study allows for the anticipation of certain measures in the health system of headache recognition as a major medical and public health issue, based on the important medical-social impact of the pathology. The results of the study contribute to capacity building in order to give adequate attention to primary headaches in adolescents with a view to achieving a correct diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Results Implementation: Research results are useful for developing educational programs for health professionals and the public to raise awareness of headache as a pathology, its forms of prophylaxis and treatment.
