Aim of investigation: the purpose of the research consists in the theoretical foundation, elaboration and experimental validation of the pedagogical model of developing the digital competences of the future specialists in the socio-legal field through interactive technologies.

Objectives of investigation: (1) to identify the psycho-pedagogical issues of developing the digital competences of socio-legal students through interactive technologies; (2) specification of the theoretical fundamental concepts regarding the definition and development of the digital competences of socio-legal students through interactive technologies; (3) to detect the theoretical-methodological foundations and to elaborate the pedagogical model of developing students’ digital competences through interactive technologies; (4) to establish and substantiate pedagogically the methodology of developing digital competences by exploring interactive technologies; (5) to prove the efficiency of the pedagogical model and of the elaborated methodology by using the experimental method.

The novelty and the scientific originality consist in the conceptual foundation of the pedagogical model and of the methodology of developing socio-legal students’ digital competences through interactive information technologies.

The important scientific problem solved in this research consists in the scientific foundation of the efficiency of interactive information technologies in the process of developing students’ digital competences, which has led to the elaboration of a university training methodology, focused on interactive technologies, in order to develop the digital competences of socio-legal students.

The theoretical significance of the research consists in researching and highlighting of interactive technologies in the process of development of digital skills for socio-legal students from the perspective of the elaborated pedagogical model.

The applicative value of this research paper is determined by the efficient implementation of the elaborated pedagogical model and usage of the training methodology developed in the study process of the university course “Information and communication technologies” for social-legal students by applying interactive technologies for the purpose of development of digital skills.

Implementation of scientific results: the elaborated methodology is used in teaching the university course “Information and communication technologies” at “Alecu Russo” Balti State University, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences.
