Field of study. This paper belongs to the field of ontology and gnoseology and refers to the methodology for evaluating studies „general traits of spiritual reality”. The purpose of the paper is to reassess the concepts of the general features of spiritual reality and to substantiating the idea that this process signifies the formation of a new research compartment, in which it is necessary to highlight Logico-Methodological issues Objectives of the paper: to highlight in the history of the 19TH Century philosophy – the beginning of the 21ST century the most eloquent treatment of the phenomena of spiritual culture, in which concepts and statements were initiated about the general traits of spiritual reality (Historical ways of thinking, periodization, legities); to argue that the contents of the compartment „general traits of spiritual reality” possess an evolution of its formation, which constitutes a balance of a bisecular process of logical treatment of the phenomena of spiritual culture; to highlight the origin of the formation of the new object of study „general traits of the phenomena of spiritual culture”, analyzing the concept of French illusionists „ideology” from the point of view of the original project and its subsequent evolution; to perform a comparative analysis of the conception of the „structure of social conscience” with previous logical treatment studies to highlight their ideatica connection and the correlate of doctrine in question with the new object of study „general traits of Spiritual phenomena”; to conduct a separate examination of the concept of the „structure of social conscience”, from new methodological premises, to explain its content and shortcomings through a single causal link; to formulate the most important methodological problems deriving from the analysis of the conception of the „structure of social conscience” and from the biecular philosophical study of the spiritual field, specifying their value for its subsequent research; to profile the notional assurance of the particular scientific investigation of the general traits of the phenomena of spiritual culture and to compare it to the similar practice in the philosophical study in order to establish their compliance with the new objectives of the research; to sketch the factors of boosting the duration and expansion of the study of the phenomena of spiritual reality, highlighting the major element for the contemporary stage of research, and probe the prospects of these investigations.
The scientific novelty of the PhD thesis resides in: 1) Implementation of the logical approach in the activity of assessing the research of spiritual reality that perfected analytical instrumentation, giving new possibilities for examination: to structure the plurality of investigations into two autonomous torrents, to analyse overall studies based on the logical approach, to profiling their methodological problems; 2) Presentation of the compartment „general traits of the phenomena of spiritual culture”, recently constituted in the framework of social philosophy, as a historical product of the evolution of studies of logical approach to specified phenomena; 3) Finalizing the critical estimate of the conception „structure of social conscience”, evaluating it for the first time systemically, in the light and context of studies with logical approach; 4) Specifying the empirical treatment of the category „Social conscience” as the essential drawback of the conception „structure of social conscience”, the deficiency appreciated by the scale and its effects as a new form of simplistic interpretation of phenomena Spiritual culture; 5) Profiling the expansion of psychology in science and art as a major factor of influence of the proportions of spiritual culture phenomena.
The main scientific problem resolved. In the thesis it was shown that the studies of the phenomena of spiritual reality performed in philosophy and private sciences were the formation of a new research compartment, „the spiritual field of social life”, highlighting the most important logico-methodological issues.
The theoretical significance and the applicative value of the work consist in the fact that the results of the investigation provide new means and possibilities to treat and continue researching the problems of the spiritual field of social life, its general traits. The elaborate materials possess a didactic and educational value. The results of the studies can be used to develop the course supports in Philosophy, Social philosophy, as well as to create optional courses such as Philosophical issues of psychology.
Implementation of scientific results. The work is a landmark in both the didactic and practical activities of the philosophers, the representatives of the particular sciences dealing with the methodology of research of the general traits of the spiritual field of social life.
