to the doctoral thesis in economics by Trifonova Larisa ”Internationalization as a process of integrating higher education of the Republic of Moldova into the world market of educational services”, Free International University of Moldova, Chisinau, 2021 Structure of the thesis: introduction, four chapters, conclusions and recommendations, bibliography from 225 sources, 155 pages of main text, 36 figures and 21 tables, 65 appendices. Key words: internationalization of higher education, integration, educational services market, world education market, higher education in the Republic of Moldova. Research area: 521.02. World economy; International economic relations. The aim of the thesis consists in the formation and scientific substantiation of the conceptual model of internationalization of higher education in the Republic of Moldova, contributing to the process of integration into the world market of educational services. Objectives: explore scientific approaches, integration processes and models in higher education in the service market; to reveal the peculiarities of the internationalization of higher education in diagnostics on the global, European and market of the Republic of Moldova; substantiate the need to implement, develop a strategy and model for the internationalization of higher education in the Republic of Moldova and assess its effectiveness as a tool for integrating the country into the world market of educational services. Scientific novelty and originality. Clarification of the concept of internationalization of higher education, taking into account the relationship with integration processes; development of a model for the internationalization of higher education in the Republic of Moldova; development of a set of strategic initiatives, including activities adapted for implementation at the national and institutional levels in the higher education system of the Republic of Moldova; development of a methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the model of internationalization of higher education and the process of integration of the Republic of Moldova into the world educational space. The results obtained, contributing to the solution of the scientific problem consist in developing a model, strategic initiatives and evaluating the effectiveness of the model of internationalization of higher education in the Republic of Moldova as a tool for integrating the country into the global market of educational services. The theoretical significance consists in revealing the methodological and conceptual provisions that contribute to the deepening and concretization of the research directions of the problem of internationalization of higher education in the context of the development of integration processes in the global economy. The practical significance. The author's model and strategic initiatives for the internationalization of higher education will allow developing specialized strategies at the national and institutional level and assessing the effectiveness of the process of integrating higher education in the Republic of Moldova into the global educational environment. Implementation of scientific results. Scientific research in the form of conclusions and recommendations was presented at scientific conferences and in journals, and was also recognized as useful for the development of internationalization of higher education in the context of the integration process by higher educational institutions of the Republic of Moldova.
