Driga Ina. Semiotic-pragmatic elements in the bessarabian dramatic text.
Ph thesis in philological sciences, specialty 621.01, Chişinău, 2021 Structure of the Dissertation: introduction; 3 chapters; conclusions and recommendations; 162 titles of bibliography; figures (5), tables (4), diagrams (4), appendixes (6). The basic text is 146 pages long. The obtained results have been published in 14 scientific articles. Key-words: semantics, pragmatics, dramatic text, language acts, didascalies, nonverbal/paraverbal, dialogue/monologue, proper nouns, intertext. Research aim it consists in analyzing the bessarabian dramatic text from the perspective of semiotics and linguistic pragmatics. In order to achieve the intended goal, we have planned the following research objectives: exploring different approaches to comment on the dramatic text of bessarabian playwrights (C. Cheianu, V. Butnaru and D. Crudu); illustration of the most important aspects of pragmatics and semiotics such as: conversational implication, conversation maxims, language acts, etc.; conducting a case study on the degree of frequency of intertextual elements (quotation, parody and allusion) in the works of bessarabian playwrights. The scientific novelty and originality consists in elaborating a multiaspectual study of dramatic text, respecting the standards of textuality and projecting new perspectives with reference to language acts, didascalies, nonverbal-paraverbal elements, deictics, dialogue, monologue and elements of intertextuality fully exploited in dramatic texts. The results obtained that contribute to solving an important scientific problem. The thesis scientifically interpreted the way of organizing and manifesting the semiotic-pragmatic elements in the modern dramatic text, fully capitalizing on the bessarabian dramatic discourse. The methodology of scientific research is based on: structural-semantic analysis, pragmasemantics, selective method, contextual method, statistical method, case study, etc.
The theoretical significance consists in: deepening the research study of the bessarabian dramatic text; analysis of scientific materials that approach the pragmatics and semiotics of dramatic discourse; systematizing discursive strategies; describing the convergence of nonverbal and paraverbal signs in didascalies. The applicative value of research. The obtained results could be used in the elaboration of the university courses of linguistic pragmatics, semantics, texte analysis and theatrical art for the students from the humanities specialties. Implementation of the scientific results. The results of this PhD thesis have been presented during national and international conferences. They could be applied in the teaching process of an university courses for students with philology specialty. They will also serve as a foundation for futher scientific investigation in the domain of dramatic discourse
