The aim of the research is: to determinetheoretical foundations on the cultural value of paremiological language, the development and experimental validation of the pedagogical model for the development of communicative competences in Eng lish by using paremiological language in higher education.

The objectives of the research are: to establish theoretical foundations regarding the importance of paremiological language in the development of communicative competence in English from an ethnocultural perspective; to describe the pedagogical context and of the students' motivation for the practical application of the paremiological language in the process of professional training of pedagogical students; to evaluate the university curricular premises of the integration of the paremiological language in the development of communicative competence in English; to identify the pedagogical conditions for the development of communicative competence in English from the perspective of the use of paremiological language in higher education; to establish the degree of the usage of the paremiological language in English communication of students experimentally; to validate experimentally of the Pedagogical Model of the Development of Communicative Competence in English by capitalizing on the paremiological language.

The novelty and scientific originality of the research results is objectified by: theoretical fundamentals regarding the formation of the communcative competence in a foreign language from an ethnocultural perspective; the evolution of the term communicative competence, paremiological language that generated the need to capitalize on the paremiological language in the formation of communicative competence in English of students.

The scientific obtained results that contributed to the solution of the important problem in the domain consist in determining theoretical fundamentals regarding the cultural value of paremiological language, the elaboration and experimental validation of the Pedagogical Model of the communicative competence development in English by exploring paremiological language in higher education leading to the praxiological implementation of the foreign language communication paradigm based on cultural values.

The theoretical significance of the research lies in: the description of the evolution of the concept communication in English as a sociocultural context, irreducible to the term communication competence, from the approach of English paremiological and aphoristic language to authentic communication; the elucidation of scientific arguments regarding the importance of teaching the English paremiological language in the formation of communicative competence, the determination and systematization of communication strategies based on the values of culture at university level; establishing the criteria for evaluating the communicative competence of pedagogical students from the perspective of using the English paremiological language.

The practical value of the research consists in: the contributions to the curricular modernization of the university didactics of English by the experimental argumentation of the formative impact of the Pedagogical Model which includes the pedagogical conditions designed / realized in a stimulating university context. description of the mechanisms for the phased development of English communicative competences that oscillate between capturing the positive dynamics of English communication of pedagogical students in terms of valorization of paremiological language and authentic English communication and development of criteria for assessing English language skills.

The implementation of scientific research results were carried out through: media coverage and publication of research results at national and, international conferences and in scientific journals, by experimenting with the pedagogical model in university education institutions (UPS "I. Creanga" and USARB) in the Republic of Moldova in 2015-2020.
