Summary

The essential changes of social-economic reality caused by the mega tendencies (globalization, liberalization, socialization etc.), the development of information society and the origin of the post informational one condition the actuality of the topic of the dissertation. These changes call forth for the reevaluation of values and strategies on all levels of decision-making that, in its own turn, determines the necessity for the revision of the foundations of economic-managerial methodology. If taken into account that the very methodology gets an economical value in contemporary business world, actuality of the research topic is in increase. The main objectives of the work so far are to be the systematization and conceptual development of new approaches to strategic and cross-cultural management, substantiation of these approaches as the components of a new economic-managerial methodology and the conceptualization of the latter.

The realization of these objectives has resulted in the systematization and development in the context of strategic and cross-cultural management of such approaches of the “third scientific wave” as holistic, hermeneutic, synergetic and organismic one, the elaboration of new approaches like managerial Gestalt and polylevel pragmatic-axiological approach, the application of traditional approaches like evolutionary, dialectical etc. in their new interpretation. On this basis a new economic-managerial methodology has been conceptualized as a system of thinking and decision-making, the distinctive features of which are: holism, flexibility, transparency, positive synergism, situation adequacy etc. Leaning upon this, there has been analyzed economic culture in its interconnection with other domains of human culture (politics, philosophy, religion etc.), owing to which the essence, models and values of a “new” economy have been revealed.

Due to the analysis of the data of the ONU, national statistics and social-economic cross-cultural research on seven countries conducted by the author and her international colleagues under the guidance of Braunschweig Institute of Management, a contemporary system of managerial values has also been figured out. It has become important, on the one hand, for the perfection of the strategies of a “new” economy on global, national, corporate and individual levels, on the other hand, for the analysis of changes in management.

The retrospective analysis has been used for the conceptualization of paradigms for the social-economic development and strategic management of previous epochs as well as for the investigation on the evolution of strategic management at its main organizational levels (global, state and corporate).

The actual analysis has been used for the research on contemporary strategies and values embodied in Programs for the social-economic development on global level and the respective tendencies on the corporate one as well as for the investigation on and systematization of the models of the “new” economy in its correlation with other spheres of human activity. On this basis a new paradigm of strategic and cross-cultural management has been elaborated as Homo Intelligens. Proceeding from the current strategic goal of the Republic of Moldova - integration into the European Union - there has also been analyzed the main strategies and programs for the social-economic development of the country.

The prospective analysis has been used for the identification of a social-economic development conception of the post informational society as the sustainable, constructive and organismic development. The conducted research has made it possible to conceptualize strategic and cross-cultural management as holistic and synergetic systems.

Theoretical theses, methodological ideas and applicative recommendations of the dissertation can be used by the Government of the Republic of Moldova (Ministry of Economic and Informational Development, Ministry of External Relations and European Integration etc.) for further elaboration and perfection of strategies for national social-economic development and integration into the world and regional economies; by corporate management for its strategies to increase competitiveness on global, regional and national markets; by professors for further perfection of their courses on strategic, corporate, international, comparative management and on economic theory as well as for the elaboration of courses on methodology of economic and managerial sciences, cross-cultural management etc
