Summary

The structure of the work: introduction, 3 chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography consisting of 317 titles, 7 annexes, 140 basic text pages. The results obtained are published in 8 scientific papers.

Goals of the work: The aim of the paper consists in the complex criminological research of latent criminality in order to elaborate some scientifically argued recommendations, oriented towards the improvement of the legal regulations and the efficiency of the practice of prevention of the investigated phenomenon.

The research objectives: Analysis of scientific materials related to the thesis topic; explanation of criminological dimensions for latent criminality; identification of measures for latent criminality prevention.

Novelty and scientific originality: derives from the complex approach of the investigated phenomenon at the level of scientific work. On this support, theoretical conclusions and recommendations have been formulated in order to improve the measures to prevent latent criminality.

The obtained results that contribute to the solution of an important scientific problem: consist in the elaboration of the conceptual framework regarding the criminological particularities of latent criminality at present stage, as well as the foundation of some conclusions and proposals that allow to realize a complex approach in the process of improving the practice of preventing the respective type of crime.

Theoretical significance: the information contained in the paper enlarges the knowledge in the investigated field and can be used for further study of the concerned social phenomenon. Simultaneously, the theoretical importance of the study is that the highlighted ideas, conclusions and recommendations supplement the theoretical foundations of the latent criminality prevention.

Applicative value: consists in the fact that scientific ideas and conclusions in the content of the paper can be used in the process of studies within educational institutions with legal profile and in the theoretical doctrinal plan, as an initial material for a deeper approach to the latent criminality.

Implementation of scientific results: analysis, conclusions and recommendations formulated find their applicability in carrying out of new scientific studies, in the process of legal norms elaboration, in the study programs of educational institutions, but also in the activity of the bodies responsible for criminality preventing and combating.
