Summary

Present work is a research about the establishment and evolution of the modern moldavian statality, which has not been enough reflected yet in moldavian historical science.

An scrupulous analysis of the scientific literature, published historico-juridical documents, using different archive files, most of which were introduced in the scientific circulation for the first time, led the author to next main conclusions:

- The moldavian state (the historical Moldova), established in 1359 on the north-easten area of anticient Dacia, disposed all attributes of a sovereign state: Government, population, territory, frontier, fiscal-customary system, sovereignty. Ethnical name „moldovans”, “Moldova”, appeared even before XIV century.

- In 1812 Moldovan state was divided between Russia and Turkey. In 1862 (historical) Moldova lost its statality.

- On the 2nd of december 1917, in Bessarabia, in the easten part of the historical Moldova (eastern Moldova) the moldavian statality was reinstaurated. Proclamation and establishment of the Moldavian Democratical Republic in 1917-1918, disposing all attributes of a sovereign state, is to be a historico-juridical proof of the phenomenon of the First Moldavian Republic in the modern ages.

- On the 27th of march 1918, in conditions of romanian occupation the provisorial Parlament “Sfatul Ţării” exceeding its plenary power proclaimed the unification of the Moldavian Democratical Republic (Bessarabia) with Romania.

- On the 2nd of august 1940 on the territory of the Moldavian Democratical Republic occupied by Rumania in 1918 and on the territory of moldavian autonomy, created in Ucraina, Soviet Union proclaims the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic. The creation and evolution of MSSR (1940- 1991) in USSR componence, in conditions of limited autonomy are historico-juridical confirmations of the phenomenon of The Second Moldavian Republic.

- Between 1940-1991, the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic, being the part of USSR, was a state with a limited sovereignty.

- The proclamation of independence, the adopting of the Constitution, evolution of the independent and sovereign Republic of Moldova after 1991, confirm the continuity of the moldavian nation and statality, beginning with 1359 and following with instauration of the Third Moldavian Republic.

- The modern moldavian state – the Republic of Moldova, which is a member of UN and is recognized by 180 states in the world, recently is exposed to risk of demoldovenization, separatism and irredentism. The politico-territorial and social–psychological reintegration of the modern moldavian state and moldavian nation of the both sides of the Dnester are the basic premises for the statality consolidation of the Republic of Moldova
