Summary

These of a doctor habilitate degree in biology, Chishinau, 2009. Introduction, five chapters, conclusions, bibliography of 304 references, 27 anexes, 198 pages of base text, 44 figures, 64 tables. The results are published in 65 scientific papers.

Direction of investigation: ecology and environment protection. Objectives: elaboration of the WM Conception for the RM and estimation methodology of EI and damage caused to the environment in the process of waste management; evaluation of the influence of polluted by waste sites upon the phytocenoses and species of the plants, the determination of the factors referring to the heavy metals (HM) migration in the system „soil-plant”; estimation of the EI on the environment, caused by the pollutants generated in the technological process of residual water (RW) purification at the biological purification plant (BPP); elaboration of the new technologies of dangerous WV based on the chemico-technological and biological methods, as well as a technology of electrochemical sensors (ES) production;

Methodology of scientific research is based on the WM Strategies of European Union, Great Britany, Austria, Roumania and on the works in the WM field of the scientists: Rojanschi V. şi al. (1989), Родионов А. и др. (1989), Bartone C. (1990), Ştefănescu L. şi al.(1991), Batstone R. et al.(1996), Bentsson L.et al.(1996), Stern A.(1997), Dicshit N.(2001), Evanilo G. et al.(2004), Duca Gh. şi al. (2006), Macoveanu M. şi al.(2006), Ковалев В.(2007).

Scientific novelty and originality: the WM Conception according to the principles of the sustainable development (SD) has been elaborated, taking into account the ecological and chemico-technological aspects of waste generation and its management. The grade of landfills effect over environment, as well as the waste sites pollution and other factors influence over the phytocenoses were determined.

Theoretical value. Some regularities of EI, caused by the antropogenic activities on the environment, especially, on the vegetal carpet from mun. Chisinev ecosystem have been established, the methodology for the EI of WM was elaborated.

Application value. The WM conception and the scheme of WM realization are proposed. 4 technologies for valorification of industrial waste (with hexacyanoferrates from wine production, galvanic and from Power Plant Station waste, as well as mud from BPP) and a technology of ES production were elaborated and implemented.
