Summary

The thesis consists of introduction, four chapters, conclusions and recommendations, 192 sources of bibliography, 21 annexes, 112 pages of basic text, 35 figures, 22 tables of data. The obtained results were published in 11 scientific works.

Goal and objects of study. The goal of study is identification and quantitative emphasizing of anthropogenic transformations in typical chernozems from Balti Steppe for elaboration of measures for decreasing of negative consequences. The objectives are: elaboration of soil-standard; identification of changes at soil quality; soil quality restoration measures.

Research methodology. Identification of negative changes in arable typical chernozems and elaboration of restitution measures was made on the basis of their comparison with properties of soil-standard and postarable 15 and 30 years swarded soil.

Scientific innovation and originality of the research. It was obtained new information about degradation of physical and chemical properties of typical clayey-loamy chernozems from Balti Steppe and were tested phyto-ameliorative measures for negative consequences decreasing.

Theoretical signification. The new data about evolution of typical chernozem properties as a result of human impact and pedogenesis phases changing were obtained. It was evaluated the phyto-meliorative influence of steppe vegetation at compound and properties of soil.

The results of the research made possible obtaining of new information about modification of pedogenesis processes, typical chernozems composition and properties as a result of pedogenesis phases changing from soil formation under steppe vegetation to anthropogenic.

Applicative value of the work. Materials of the thesis will be used for perfection of rational utilization soil system, at university courses of applicative pedology, agropedology, agroecology and also for thesis of the license in the field of pedology and agroecology.

Implementation of scientific results. The results of investigations are used for creation of Republic of Moldova soil quality monitoring data bank and prognostication of soil properties modification in different agricultural systems. Also they can be used as scientific base for elaboration of a sustainable agricultural system.
