Structure: introduction, three chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography of 236 titles, 20 annex, 128 pages of basic text, 24 tables, 29figures and 10 formulas.

The purpose and objectives of the work: development strategies and policies to eradicate poverty in the assessment of the scale, identify the essence, causes and peculiarities in Moldova, research con-ceptelor existing theoretical and systematic poverty assessment methodologies and ways of eradicating poverty, highlighting specific characteristics, determinants and consequences - ments of social and economic poverty, highlighting the priority directions of macroeconomic policies in the context of poverty eradication strategy.

Novelty and scientific originality: The thesis is a systematic and comprehensive research, it reflects the essence of poverty monitoring and evaluation methodology, systematic methodologies for poverty assessment and monitoring in the complex approach and reflection on the assessment of poverty in the equivalence scale, highlighting the characteristics of poverty in Moldova and the reflection on the potential poverty, outlining strategic priorities for poverty eradication in the Republic Moldova as components of comprehensive national strategy and development model to assess the impact of social transfers on poverty nationally and the reflection on the evaluation of social transfers on poverty nationally.

Theoretical significance lies in: theoretical systematization of the essence and the need to eradicate poverty argument defining "poverty" in the complex investigation of the causes, forms of manifestation and consequences of its existence in society, concrete contents of complex social phenomenon of poverty as economic-psychological-cultural argument major importance poverty alleviation for developing the national economy.

The amount applied to work: Theoretical results obtained have reached the practical applicability of the specific recommendations proposed by the author, which may be considered for revision of the National Development Strategy for 2008-2011 in the process of achieving the objectives set. The results obtained can serve as support for improving teaching and expanding the course of economic theory and the development departments of other disciplines integral economic and social profile: economic doctrines, social management, theory and methodology of scientific research, economic research methodology.

Implementing these scientific results: Research materials are used in developing the Strategy and Framework Programs for eradicating poverty, sectoral macroeconomic policies, legislative and regulatory provisions at national, regional and local activities and future curecte public administration bodies.
