The thesis (142 pages) consists of the following parts: an introduction, three chapters, conclusions and practical recommendations, bibliography – 183 references, 19 annexes, 11 figures and 22 tables. The obtained results are published in 12 scientific papers.

Research domain: Theory and Methodology of Teaching (of an informatics teacher), 13.00.02

Aim of the research consists in the development and implementation of the technological model of the formation of professional competencies of future teachers of informatics by the means of definition of their methodological base.

Objectives of the research: investigation of the modern tendencies in the training of the future informatics teachers; definition of the professional competencies of the informatics teacher; development of a technological model for the formation of informatics teacher’s professional competencies; development and practical testing of the Informatics Didactics curriculum; design and implementation of the pedagogical experiment to determine the efficacy of the developed technological model.

Innovation and originality of the research: for the first time in the Republic of Moldova, a technological model for the formation of professional competencies of the future informatics teachers was developed and professional standards of the informatics teacher were defined.

Theoretical significance of the research consists in the development of the methodological foundation for the entry-level training of informatics teachers according to the technological model for the formation of professional competencies of the future informatics teachers.

Practical value of the research consists in the development of the didactics of informatics teachers training; theoretical and experimental evaluation of the Informatics Didactics; recommendations for the implementation of professional standards for informatics teachers.

Obtained on the basis of developed methodology research results were introduced in the practice of training teachers of computer science at the State Pedagogical University "Ion Creanga".
