Structure: introduction, three chapters, the general conclusions and suggestions, bibliography of 127 sources, 17 annexes, 143 pages of main text (before the bibliography), 15 figures, 18 tables. Results are published in 9 scientific papers.
The purpose of the given work is revealing such limits of expansion of a private sector in social sphere which would allow to use as much as possible opportunities of the mechanism of the market in the given sphere.
Objectives: analysis of the essence of the social sphere and the identification of its constituents in the different concepts of economic doctrines; revealing of specificity of social sphere and its difference from sphere of production of goods; analysis of positive and negative aspects of private and public sector in branches of social sphere; the analysis of a level of expansion of a private sector in social sphere in the different countries of the world; studying of a level and prospects of expansion of a private sector in social sphere in Republic of Moldova; formulation of proposals to stimulate the expansion of the private sector in the social sphere of the Republic of Moldova.
Scientific novelty and originality of the research: specification of the concept of social sphere; the scientific argument of necessity of expansion of a private sector in social sphere; revealing of limits of expansion of a private sector in social sphere; research of specificity of process of expansion of a private sector in social sphere in Republic of Moldova; revealing of factors which promote or interfere with expansion of a private sector in social sphere; revealing of prospects of expansion of a private sector in social sphere in Republic of Moldova.
Theoretical significance and practical importance of the work: the development of proposals for expanding the private sector at the level of preschool education, preparation of proposals for changes in the national system of medical insurance, the argument expansion of the private sector in providing health services in rural areas, the argument of necessity of opening and development of private pension funds.
The introduction of scientific results. The study can be used in courses on Economic theory and Economic doctrines, and may form the basis of the course of Economics of the social sphere.
