This work is dedicated to biological, phytochemical and pharmacological research of species Aralia mandshurica Rupr et Maxim., Solanum dulcamara L. and Nigella sativa L., which are growing in Republic of Мoldova and Roumania. The common hall-mark of these plants is that all of them contain saponins.
The distinctive tags of medicinal raw Aralia mandshurica Rupr et Maxim., Solanum dulcamara L. and
Nigella sativa L. were established by macro and microscopical analysis.
The phytochemical investigations include: the common qualitative tests for identification of the basic grups of natural compounds from Aralia mandshurica Rupr et Maxim., Solanum dulcamara L. and Nigella sativa L.; extraction, purrification and quantitative determination of triterpenic saponins. Volatile and fixed oils were obtained from seeds of Nigella sativa L. and were determined their elemental composition and their percentage.
It was established the haemolytical index and the concentration of the haemolytical saponins in the Aralia mandshurica Rupr et Maxim., Solanum dulcamara L. and Nigella sativa L.By the thin-layer chromatography were marked the principal haemolytical saponins. From the crude saponins, after a leadacid hydrolysis was obtained and determined them aglycones.
To evaluate probable cytotoxic effect of the sum of saponins from A. mandshurica Rupr et Maxim., S.
dulcamara L. and N. sativa L., was executed phytobiological trials, using grains of Triticum aestivum L.
We studied the effects of isolated saponins upon the germination of the seeds and the elongation of the hypocotyle. The accumulation of fresh and dry biomass, the mythosis in the root meristems.
The pharmacological research actuates definition of toxicity of saponins from leaves, bark and roots of A. mandshurica Rupr et Maxim., and also different extractions from seeds of N. sativa L. at them intragastral administration, with definition of LD50.
The hematological changes of a blood at the white mice after hypodermic and intragastral administration of saponins from leaves, bark and roots of A. mandshurica Rupr et Maxim.were analysed.
There was determined a physical stimulation of the white mice after intragastral administration of saponins from leaves, bark and roots of Aralia mandshurica Rupr et Maxim.
The antibacterial and antifungal properties of an essential oil and tincture from the seeds of Nigella sativa L . were proved.
