The structure of thesis involve: preface, three chapters, conclusions and recommendations, bibliography with 181 naming, 14 appendixes, 139 pa¬ges of basic text, 25 figures, 20 tables and 28 formulas. The obtained re¬sults were published in 8 scientific works.
Field of research: governmental social protection
Objectives of thesis:analysis of theoretical concepts about social pro¬tection; systematization of classification’s criteria in models of social assu¬rance; analysis of organizational structure of Old-age pension systems in the world; synthesis of old-age pension reforming in European community; dis¬cer¬ning of functionalities regarding social assurance system in Moldova; dis¬tin¬guishing of financial potential of old-age pension fund in Republic of Mol¬do¬va; elaboration of statistical model to determine influence of different fac¬tors over the Old-age pension Fund Deficit in Republic of Moldova; elabora¬tion of recommendations for Old-age pension system optimization in Moldova.
Scientific novelty and originality: expansion of concepts about social protection; systematization of concepts regarding European Social Model; justification of Old-age pension Fund in Republic of Moldova; elaboration of statistical model to determine the influence of different factors over the Deficit of Old-age pension Fund in Moldova; elaboration of recommen¬dations for optimization of national Old-age pension system into efficiency of social protection in Republic of Moldova.
Theoretical significance: Overview of theoretical concepts, realized conclusions and recommendations confirm the requirement of additional scientific researches about social protection in Republic of Moldova. The results of this scientific work could be used into optimization of social protection area’s in Republic of Moldova.
Practical value of the thesis: results from its recommendations, which could be applied in functional activities of different public institutions for efficient organization and operation of Social Protection System in Republic of Moldova.
